Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Coach Primary School English, Math and Science
- Conduct lessons according to the Centre's curriculum
- Manage care routine for primary school children
- Supervise homework, life-skills & recreational activities
- Conduct indoor & outdoor activities
- Assist with field trips, excursions or visits
- Provide a positive, nurturing, safe & secure learning environment for students
- Inform supervisor of any noteworthy incidents that occur while the students are under your supervision
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline
- Candidates be familiar with Primary School Syllabus
- Student care and Tutoring experience is an advantage
- Has the passion to nurture students’ holistic development
- Positive work attitude & full of initiative
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
Location & Working Hours (Monday to Friday)
Yishun (Community Based SCC)
Normal School Term: 10.30am to 7pm (includes 1 hr break)
School Holidays: 7.00am to 4.00pm or 10am to 7pm
Salary:
Full-Time: $2,300 - $2,600 (Salary will commensurate with education and experience)

Working Conditions:
This Student Care Centre is Community based, focusing on after-school programs. The work schedule is typically from Monday to Friday, from 10.30am to 7pm or in shifts during school holidays. This position also requires staff to fetch students from nearby schools. The work environment can be noisy and active, and requires physical stamina and energy to engage and interact with children throughout the day. Classrooms are air-conditioned.
