Position : Executive (Human Resource Management)


Contract period : Immediately- 6 months contract, with option to extend for another 6 months


Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm

(Flex hours can be arranged with reporting officer)


Job scope :
You will be part of the Human Resource Directorate under The People & Organisation Group which focuses on developing people and organisational capabilities. As strategic partners to our Directorates and officers, we aim to build a performance driven workforce that is future ready and agile. We work closely with senior management to nurture an engaged workforce that is motivated and passionate with One Public Service mindset to transform the public sector through finance.


As a temporary officer supporting the Human Resource Management team, you will be part of the team which attract and hire the best talents to support manpower needs.


You will be involved in the following:

• Support end-to-end recruitment and internship functions, which includes liaising with stakeholders, posting of job advertisement, scheduling of interviews and on-boarding

• Manage logistics arrangement for recruitment and outreach events

• Create EDMs for internal staff communication

• Provide administrative support in reconciliation of physical files, updating of databases and maintenance of records

• Assist in ad hoc assignments


Requirements:

Functional/Technical Competencies

• Tertiary Education in Human Resource, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines. Diploma / Tertiary – salary ranges from $13 – 16 per hour depending on qualifications and relevant working experience.

• Prior HR experience in the public sector and familiarity with recruitment and/or employer branding will be an advantage

• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
