Interior FFE Designer
Smallwood is an International Design firm headquartered in Atlanta, USA. This is complemented by a thriving Design office in Singapore. Within this office, our firm contains a seasoned group of design professionals providing innovative and leading design services for hospitality, residential, office and master planning projects.
We are looking to grow our core design team in Singapore by the addition of talented and passionate and Interior Design staff, with a specific emphasis on Luxury Hospitality.
From our Singapore office we work Internationally, including markets in Southeast Asia, India, The Middle East and Africa so international Design experience is a distinct advantage.
Job Responsibilities in a Leading Role:
· The FF&E Designer's focus will be on sourcing, production, and documentation of all FF&E interior design projects.
· Knowledge of the luxury Hospitality industry a must.
· Knowledge of International Operator brand standards and working/approval methods is necessary.
· International FFE experience a distinctive advantage.
· The scope of this role is from Concept design stage till construction stage documentation, including responses to site submissions for design compliance.
· The candidate must be able to work independently under the direction of project team leader.
· Ability to quickly to source imagery to generate and assist with conceptual design narratives at project commencement an advantage.
· Must be communicative, able to work in team and take ownership.
· Must be well versed technically.
· Knowledge of sanitary types and ironmongery specifications needed.
· Must be creative, open-minded, and imaginative.
· Must have excellent presentation and written communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Qualification in Interior Design
· 7 years (min) of Interior FFE experience
· Proficiency in graphic software’s such as Excel, InDesign, Power Point and Photoshop a must. Autocad and advantage.
Salary Range, dependant on experience:
· SGD 4,000-5,500
