The Senior Manager is responsible the procurement, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.
- Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layout.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for each driver to deliver more efficiently.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Completes logistical operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Manages staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Improves staff performance by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
- Proficient with different computers operating system such as Windows 10/11. MacOS is a plus.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Orientation for new staff
