RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statement reports, including income statements, balance sheets, balance sheet schedules (investments, right-of-use assets, prepayments, accruals, etc.) and cash flow statements, for management review and external stakeholders.
- Prepare corporate income tax returns.
- Handle payroll related matters, including CPF, IR21 and AIS submission.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance guidelines.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience.
- Deep understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and familiarity with Singapore Tax regulations.
- High proficiency in Excel and substantial experience in implementing process changes.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and people management skills, with the capability to work collaboratively across different functions.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a proactive approach towards driving process and system improvements.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in finance or related fields.
