Data Analyst

A. Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and take responsibility for maintaining our SAP Business One (B1) system, as well as supporting various reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP B1 system management, HANA queries, Crystal Reports, and Power BI, along with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

B. Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP B1 System Management:

• Maintain the SAP B1 system, including user setup, system configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to address system issues and implement enhancements or updates as needed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on SAP B1 functionalities and processes.

2. HANA Queries and Reports:

• Manage existing HANA queries and reports, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and relevance.
• Develop new HANA queries and reports to meet evolving business needs and reporting requirements.
• Optimize HANA queries for performance and data retrieval efficiency.

3. Crystal Reports:

• Manage existing Crystal Reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
• Develop new Crystal Reports based on business requirements and user needs.
• Customize Crystal Reports layouts and formats to enhance usability and readability.

4. Power BI Reports and Dashboards:

• Manage existing Power BI reports and dashboards linked to SAP B1, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Develop new Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and support decision-making.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis and reporting.

C. Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in working as a consultant in SAP partner firm or as an in-house ERP specialist in a mid-sized trading/manufacturing company.
3. Proficiency in MS Power BI is required.
4. Experience in dashboard reporting will be an added advantage.
5. Proficiency of C# programming language will be an advantage.
6. Good analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
