Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely delivery of goods to the customer including loading and unloading of goods
- Prepare receipts, verifies orders and may collect payment for deliveries
- Assist the warehouse supervisor to ensure proper storage of materials in warehouse
- Provide light maintenance of the vehicle including inspecting & repairing to ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition at all times
- Assist the Forklift Driver in inspection of the quality and condition for all incoming and outgoing materials ensuring that they are in good conditions
- Assist the Forklift Driver in performing inventory cycle count (when necessary)
- Assist the Forklift Driver in daily housekeeping of warehouse ensuring that it is clean and well maintained (as necessary)
- Adhere to environmental, health and safety rules / regulations
- Ensure that any goods delivery and customer on-site feedback matters are promptly reported to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in the annual stock take / inventory audit
- Perform other ad-hoc projects or duties as and when necessary
- Minimum academic qualification PSLE
- Possess class 4/5 driving license and forklift license below 5 tons
- Preferably trained in chemical safety and safe handling of chemicals
- Able to converse and read simple English
- Careful and adhere to instructions, rules and regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
