Responsibility of the resident engineer includes:
- Assisting in supporting and fulfillment of Service Level Agreement and respond to all Level 1 and Level 2 network related incidents;
- Escalation of incident or problem tickets to SDM and Level 2 and/or Level 3 for issue resolution
- Fulfilment of network services related Service Requests (SR), Change Requests (CR) and incident tickets including firewall rules change requests, access switch port VLAN change configurations and troubleshooting of network connectivity issues including Layer 1 cable issues;
- Coordination, and executing of network preventive maintenance activities
- This resident engineer MUST be proficient in SDN and able to support the SDN 2.0.
- Besides SDN skillsets, it will be advantageous to have other network skills and experience on Fortinet & Cisco ASA firewall, wireless, F5 load balancer.
