Primary Objectives of Position
The Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the food production function to ensure that production targets are met and food products meet required production standards.
Major Responsibilities
- Provide overall supervision of production activities. He/she is responsible for smooth production operations within the plant, and ensures adequate inventories of raw materials, manpower and other resources required
- Oversees and makes regular reports to the manager on production outputs, equipment issues and staff overtime.
- Sustain improvement in product quality and productivity, evaluate low yield and quality assurance fail lots to highlight issues that affect output and operations
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching Major Responsibilities
- Delegate instructions and information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety at the workplace.
- Coordination provision of training to production staff.
- Review monthly GMP checklist and flag items required to be followed up.
- Assume basic responsibilities and duties in the absence of Team Leader.
- Adherence to all standards of quality and hygiene of product and exemplary housekeeping standards in accordance Food Safety System requirements and exemplary housekeeping standards.
- Ensures that the team maintains processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and presentable condition.
Required Skills:
- Vocational training (NITEC and above) in the chemical field or with related experience in production manufacturing industry.
- Able to work in environment with strong smell.
- Able to speak mandarin will be advantageous
- Motivated and able to communicate effectively.
- Able or comfortable to lift / load and unload items weighing 20kg and above.
- Candidate must be willing to take overtime when required.
Additional information:
- Working hours is from 8:30 - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Frequent Shuttle bus shedule from/to Lakeside MRT & Buroh Lane
