Responsibilities:
- Perform EUC, system and network administration activities in accordance with policies and procedures. This includes the setup, install and updating respective software and operating systems across the network.
- Create and maintain documentation and processes for troubleshooting, maintaining, and configuring systems.
- Support audit and infrastructure/network security scans, disaster recovery and security related drills.
- Troubleshoot, performs root cause analysis, implements corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident. This includes collaborate with the Group IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Explore, learn and deploy new technologies that will help the company to reduce cost or improve operational efficiencies.
- Provide a focus on automation to improve agility using tools and Security by Design approach.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or higher in IT or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Solutions Engineer in a medium or large MNC.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, TCP/IP, and routing protocols. Includes switches, routers, wi-fi access points, and other network equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software (includes Windows OS) issues.
- Experienced in handling mass deployment projects for implementation of patches, upgrades, application migration and hardware replacement
