Quality Assurance Technician
Working Days: 5 Days (Monday – Friday)
Working Timing: 8.15am – 5.30pm
Location: Gul Circle
Salary: $ 1800 – $ 2800
Job Description:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for documenting and creating comprehensive technical reports & WI (Work Instruction) related to overhauling of rotating equipment. The reports will serve as critical documentation for our client & the work instruction will be serve as critical reference for our service team. Secondary, the candidate would perform acceptance testes for rotating equipment overhauled. Relevant testing training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & create inspection templates of rotating equipment for service team.
- Gather technical data, specifications and maintenance records for reference.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to understand the overhaul process.
- Prepare detailed and accurate technical reports outlining the overhaul procedures, findings and recommendations.
- Include clear photographs, diagrams and charts in reports to support documentation.
- Ensure that reports adhere to industry standards, safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Review and edit reports for clarity, accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with team members to gather necessary information and provide updates on report progress.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Any other jobs assigned.
Requirement:
- NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related field.
- Experiences in metrology is highly preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in using software tools for documentation, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering drawing software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality technical reports.
- Basic knowledge to interpreting internationally accepted units of measurement.
- Basic observation skills to ensure that the measurement devices and equipment are being used effectively.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment is a plus.
- OJT will be provided.
