Accounts Assistant
The Accounts Assistant supports the Admin and Finance Department in the day-to-day accounting responsibilities and will report to the Finance Director. He/she will cover duties that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, data compilation, billing and other admin & accounting tasks. He/she may be called on to participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing when necessary.
Accounts Receivable - Responsible for the efficient monitoring and processing of:
- Receipting
- Accurate entries into the Accounting System
- Filing of all AR documents
- Any other assigned work
Accounts Payable – Responsible for the efficient monitoring and processing of:
- Supplier invoice processing
- Employee Claims
- Accurate entries into the Accounting System
- Filing of all AP documents
Project Accounting – Responsible for:
- Scanning & filing of all projects documents
Administration
- Assist in answering all incoming calls
- Collect mail daily and distribute the mail to respective owners
Roles & Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including those who are not involved in Finance
- Provide effective support to team members
- Perform other roles & responsibilities as requested
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum ITE (NITEC) or Diploma
- Minimum 1 years of related experience. Experience in the meetings, incentive travel, conferences, exhibitions and special events industry would be an added advantage
- Someone who has a strong attention to detail, is meticulous, organized and able to work well under pressure.
