A joint venture between Rolls-Royce and SIA Engineering Company, Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is the world’s largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility for all variants of the Rolls-Royce Trent engines. We are proud to operate our own state-of-the-art engine test facility for engines up to 150,000lb thrust and 140” in diameter.

Responsibilities
- Support development of new methods, capabilities and technology to improve engine overhaul processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through new methods, capability development or acquisition.
- Conduct feasibility and initial savings study to justify development/acquisition.
- Validate developed or acquired methods, capabilities and technologies to ensure initial requirements are met and savings expectations are achieved.
- Manage vendors or research groups to ensure capability/technology developments meet current or future requirements.
- Plan and manage activities, communicate status to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Support engine overhaul technical reviews to support new facility planning, design and operation
Requirements
- • Degree in Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering (Candidates possessing both Diploma certification and relevant experience will be considered).
- • Ideally 5 years’ experience in similar job role. Applicants with less experience (including fresh graduates) but have relevant skills and experience may be considered.
- • Experience with industry 4.0 technology integration is an advantage.
- • Good communication, analytical, engineering and project management skills.
- • Good technical problem-solving skills.
