Assistant Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:


There are the following duties and responsibilities:

  • The prime duty is to prepare and maintain the financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts.
  • He or she has to review the work of the accounting staff, and the financial analysts
  • To work as a mentor of the accountants for analyzing the accounting and analysis duties.
  • He or she also has to ensure the accuracy of the financial records and the proper documentation
  • It is necessary to ensure that the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month and at the end of the financial year.
  • He or she needs to maintain the collaboration with the accounts department in determining the level of profitability of the company.
  • The candidate has to make sure about the fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations and that the decision makers in the firm understand the financial implications of the missions.
  • He or she is responsible for any of the financial decisions recommended for the management.
  • Provide analysis of company’s financial performance, monitor and prepare budgets
  • Ability to work comfortably with various accounting software
  • Handle external and internal audits
  • Handle tax matters
  • Establishing, reviewing and enhancing the internal control processes that govern the finance department
  • He or she needs to correspond with the senior management regarding any kind of financial decisions of the company.

Requirements:

  • CPA with Bachelor of Accountancy/Finance or ACCA with at least 4 to 6 years’ solid working experience. candidate with auditing experience is preferred.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with positive mindset
  • Possess leadership quality/ Supervisory skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Resourceful, meticulous, hands-on and resilient
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate with others
  • Technically competent with up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and practices as well as tax regulations
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and MS Office
  • Good working knowledge of SAP/ERP Software
