We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with the ability to optimize manufacturing processes to achieve superior quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs for machining operations based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to production schedules.
Perform tooling selection, tool path optimization, and machining parameter adjustments to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle times.
Conduct thorough quality inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production staff to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall productivity.
Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs, tooling configurations, and machining parameters.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision engineering environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).
Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines, including milling, turning, and grinding equipment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
