Responsibilities
- Oversee the various maintenance sites of the organization, provide technical support to the site representative.
- Manage the site managers, engineers and superintendents to carry out maintenance repair, shutdown maintenance and capital expenditure projects for the Petrochemical/Chemical Plant facilities.
- Attend to client’s enquiries and site show round, perform cost estimation and present commercial proposals.
- Develop working budgets, control and manage cost with the assistance of the engineers.
- Manage jobs in the most efficient way with all regards to safety, quality and productivity.
- Overall field coordination and control and attend work coordination meetings.
- Assist the General Manager to perform manpower planning or look-ahead projections.
- Take on additional appointments from time to time assigned by the company’s authorised officer, and carry out the duties of such appointment duly and diligently to enhance the company image and to improve the company’s business opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or related industries, at least 5 years in Managerial position.
- Sound knowledge in process plant maintenance and ability to manage projects.
