Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical designs and specifications for civil construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment necessary for mechanical installations.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, ensuring mechanical systems are installed correctly and according to design specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with engineering drawings, codes, and regulations.
- Address any technical issues or conflicts that arise during construction and propose appropriate solutions.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the performance and reliability of mechanical systems.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems to verify functionality and efficiency.
- Document and report any defects or deviations from project requirements, and coordinate resolution with project teams.
- Participate in safety inspections and risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate hazards.
- Maintain open communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to coordinate interdisciplinary design efforts and resolve conflicts.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least of 2 years of relevant experience in Construction Industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS project, AutoCAD software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented with a proactive and problem solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment
