A rapidly expanding Web3/Blockchain company is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. This role reports into the Head of Engineering and will have dotted line reports into him/her.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop web applications and enterprise software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Write clean and scalable code, including libraries and other dependencies and deploy to production without issues.
- Be skilled in reading code and escalating potential defects that may arise, as well as coaching junior members.
- Support testing requirements and risk analyses with QA and product owners.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and product managers to ship deliverables in a timely manner.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in full stack development.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Prior experiences in managing scalability issues with API and server downtime.
- Working knowledge in Ruby is a must.
- Prior experiences in building applications in different technology stacks.
- Prior experiences in mentoring junior employees is a must.
- Experience in implementing subscription and payment life cycles with payment gateways will be a strong plus.
- Web3/Blockchain experiences will be a strong plus.
