Overview
- We seek a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our Power Platform CoE team, consisting of business analysts, support engineers, and developers. Your primary responsibility will involve crafting solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform suite, encompassing PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI, Power Query, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Job Responsibilites
As a member of the Power Platform CoE team and a Power Platform Developer, your duties will include:
- Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to analyze existing processes and requirements.
- Designing business process flows for process automation and crafting solution processes using swim-lane diagrams.
- Working closely with user product teams to conceptualize and develop solutions.
- Building and deploying Power Platform-based solutions based on various requirements, including swim-lane diagrams, user stories, wireframes, and other specification artifacts.
- Identifying system deficiencies and suggesting design enhancements.
- Introducing new features and improvements to deployed applications.
- Providing support to team members in troubleshooting PowerApps/Automate-related issues.
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including conducting quality assurance checks and code reviews for solutions developed by peers.
- Collaborating with IT colleagues to ensure compliance with IT governance procedures during solution deployment in the CAG’s Power Platform environment.
- Sharing expertise in the Power Platform through training sessions, workshops, and consultations.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development.
- Minimum 2-5 years of front/back-end development experience, including at least 1 year of Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate development, with a track record of deploying at least 4 canvas apps.
- Preferred experience in configuring and integrating with SharePoint, Dataverse, and SQL databases.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
