Salary: $97,000/annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of treasury operations in Singapore and other SEA markets, including cash management, foreign exchange transactions, and liquidity management.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and regulatory developments to optimize treasury strategies and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions in the region to facilitate banking services and support treasury activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for Asian subsidiaries, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
- Implement cash pooling structures and other cash management techniques to optimize the utilization of funds within the region.
- Identify and assess financial risks associated with currency exposure, interest rate fluctuations, and liquidity constraints.
- Prepare timely and accurate treasury reports for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, liquidity positions, and risk exposures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governin treasury activities in Asian jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate should be/have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 7 to years of experience in treasury function. Those with treasury experience in SEA market will be advantageous!
- Strong understanding of financial markets, banking products, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin is essential to liaise with China counterparts
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
