Summary:
- SPPG Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission cable project.
- To supervise project works related to excavation, shoring, earth retaining, stablishing structures, temporary traffic diversion work, cable pulling & jointing activities, cable tray installation, electrical testing and commissioning, safety, and health control measures etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time stand in site supervision for SPPG Extra High Voltage cable transmission project works related to excavation, shoring, earth retaining, stablishing structures, temporary traffic diversion work, cable pulling & jointing activities, cable tray installation, electrical testing and commissioning, safety, and health control measures
- Ensure compliance to all engineering plans/drawings, method of statements/Risk Assessment and technical specifications
- Attend/Conduct daily site toolbox meeting and site safety workshop
- Prepare daily/shift progress reports as per SPPG requirements for the project
- Report any non-compliance to project engineer
- Coordinate with contractors for project site implementation
- Ensure site compliance to government health and safety policies.
- Ensure that contractor and their subcontractors comply with SPPG's safety requirements
- Submit weekly timesheet.
Requirements:
- The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) shall have minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the works
- The RTO shall have Electrical & Civil Diploma or relevant experience.
- Experience in the following areas will be additional advantage: Have site supervision experiences of contractor works for SPPG 66kV, 230kV and 400kV cable projects, familiarize with civil temporary shoring design, HDD, pipe jacking and EHV cable laying process and has obtained MOM safety training certificate
