Summary:
We are currently seeking Lead Full Stack Engineer specializing in Sitecore to join our team. This position is a hands-on software engineering role responsible for developing digital healthcare solutions. We collaborate to develop, craft and deliver high-quality business applications with Agile development rooted in Lean principles. It is an inclusive, and creative environment with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement. You will be partnering with all our business sectors to enable the future of healthcare in the digital world.
Responsibilities:
- Review Sitecore architecture and solutions, ensuring it aligns with our strategic objectives and technology standards.
- Architect and implement new templates, components, and responsive web designs in Sitecore, emphasizing reusability and efficiency.
- Champion coding excellence through practices such as BDD, TDD, SOLID principles, object-oriented design, along with collaborative approaches like pair and mob programming.
- Guide and mentor team members to continuously hone their skillsets.
- Work in a cross-functional environment to build innovative digital experiences and contribute to a productive dev experience environment
- Take ownership and accountability beyond individual results, always pushing the limits and challenging the status quo
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or a related field is required
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience in the development of scalable consumer facing digital solutions primarily using .NET/ C# / JavaScript/ HTML/ CSS with a key focus on performance, security, and scalability
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Sitecore solution development experience with Sitecore versions 10.x or higher required
- Experience setting up Sitecore xDB and Personalization features in Sitecore, Helix, Unicorn Sync, and search technologies (e.g. SOLR or Lucene)
- Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures for optimal performance and/or maintainability Experience with SQL Server
- Write clean, high-quality code in a variety of languages and are also able to spot (and improve) code smells
- Track record of leading a team of 4-6 people
- Work well in cross-functional settings such as Product and Business teams
Bonus points:
- Experience in upgrading consumer facing websites from Sitecore 8.x to Sitecore 9.x or 10.x
- Knowledge of other development languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, Nodejs, Python etc.
- Sitecore Professional Developer Certification
- Knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Restful API and/or GraphQL concepts and had hands-on experience of building and modifying high-performance APIs
