A LEADING GLOBAL INDEPENDENT BROKER

Howden is a specialist commercial insurance broker. Its regional footprint covers Singapore (regional headquarters), Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines. It is part of the London-headquartered Howden Broking Group, a leading independent, global broker with offices in over 30 countries worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with third party vendor to review, evaluate, and ensure smooth daily operations in claims, contact centre and clinic network.
  • Conduct yearly audit to ensure that processes comply with organisation requirements.
  • Handle enquiries, investigate feedback and escalations in a timely manner.
  • Review of service agreement members including contract management and credentialing.
  • Monitor and close follow up to ensure project timelines are met.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

  • Enjoy broking and marketing
  • Confident, with strong influencing ability
  • Resilient and able to manage stress
  • Business-focused: able to manage resources, deadline, budget and growth
  • Able to build relationship across all levels
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity (Candidates with no relevant experience can be considered)
  • A recognized degree in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualifications
  • Good working knowledge of employee benefits products
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written English (Effective bilingual in Mandarin will be bonus)
