The Job
- Evaluate complex machine drawings for manufacturing feasibility.
- Propose and implement design tooling and fixtures for machining intricate features.
- Support Manufacturing team in new product qualifications and optimize production hours.
- Possess strong CNC machining knowledge and design fixture capabilities for competitive machining.
- Collaborate with Procurement to establish strategic subcontract machining suppliers and expand vendor list.
- Provide technical guidance, ensure supplier compliance, and contribute to Material Review Board meetings for non-conformance issues
The Talent
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years' experience required.
- Strong background in CNC machine shop environments essential.
- Experience in machining complex parts for oil & gas equipment preferred.
- Solid mechanical and technical skills required.
- Proficiency in design and programming software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and MasterCam necessary.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills; self-motivated with a positive attitude and a drive for career advancement
