SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER – COST FORECASTER

As a Cost Forecasting professional at Procter & Gamble, you will be a key contributor to our finance team, focusing on cost forecasting and analysis. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate cost forecasts to support business planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes. Leveraging your expertise in financial systems and processes, you will develop and maintain robust cost forecasting models, tools, and methodologies.
Your Team
This role works closely with the Corporate Finance leader on financial planning and forecasting.
Responsibilities of the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and inputs for cost forecasting activities.
- Develop and maintain advanced cost forecasting models and tools, incorporating statistical techniques and financial systems capabilities.
- Analyze historical cost data and trends, identifying key drivers and developing accurate projections for future cost scenarios.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities, conduct sensitivity analysis, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize cost performance.
- Monitor and report on actual cost performance against forecasts, investigating and explaining any significant variances.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their cost-related needs and provide timely and accurate cost forecasts and analysis to support their decision-making processes.
- Continuously enhance cost forecasting processes, systems, and methodologies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to cost forecasting, and apply them to drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial concepts and cost analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in financial systems, tools, and software, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
- Excellent attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate and reliable cost forecasts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results.
