You will be part of the team to manage the leasing businesses and building operations of Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), we are looking for candidates with skills and experience on the following roles:
Responsibilities:
- Leasing of office spaces and building office management; manage tenants and landlords lease relationships; administration of leasing/ licensing contract agreement
- Management and rental of LLI’s pay-per-use-facilities, including liaising with customers, LLI’s facilities management team and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure all aspects of building safety and functionality of facilities including running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records and data and supervise improvement works to upkeep and upgrade of building assets
- Management of LLI’s facilities management team and related contractors to ensure the building and facilities are well-maintained and issues are resolved in good time
- To carry out planning and obtain budgetary quotations, prepare budget papers for approvals; develop requirement specifications
- Evaluate tender submissions and conduct tender interviews. Preparation of award papers for approvals and coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects. Monitor and supervise project vendors at the various milestones
- Ensure all works comply with the all statutory requirements (for e.g. Workplace Safety and Health Act, Building and Construction Authority, Singapore Civil Defence Force, etc)
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve all technical problems in order to achieve the desired overall project objectives
- Sustainability management with strategic planning, coordination and implementation of practices that integrate environmental, social and economic considerations into the organisation’s operations to ensure long term viability and positive impact
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in estate management; property/ building management; or equivalent
- Preferably with min 5 years of working experience in building/ estate/ leasing of facility management
- Possess great problem solving and analytical skills
- Experienced in managing multiple projects/ tasks simultaneously
- Able to balance technical skills and creative aptitude in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge on estate management and statutory/regulatory guidelines
- Good analytical thinking and writing skills, oral communications and presentation skills
- Organised and meticulous with the ability to work independently
- A team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office applications
Candidates without the relevant work experience but possess the required qualities are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
