My client is a MNC in construction industry is hiring multiple Senior Civil and Structural Engineers to join them.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in all phases of Tender, Design, and Construction Management for various Civil and Structural Systems in Industrial Facilities Buildings.
- Lead the design process for Concrete and Steel Structures.
- Support Project Managers in meeting project objectives within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
- Prepare, issue, and assess Tender packages.
- Collaborate with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity Surveyors.
- Resolve on-site design-related issues.
- Coordinate with Consultants and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure timely submission and approval from local authorities.
- Mentor Civil & Structural engineers throughout tendering, design, and construction phases following established best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in Design and Construction.
- Proficiency in Structural design software like STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion, etc.
- Hands-on experience in piling works, Sub-structure, Superstructure for reinforced concrete, Steel structures, and Precast structures.
- Familiarity with collaborating with Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity Surveyors.
- Experience in liaising with consultants and contractors.
- Proficiency in checking shop drawings for Precast and steel structures, detailed design, and CAD.
- Capability in Tender/preliminary Design, Detailed Design, managing sub-contract tender packages, and leading engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel overseas if required.
