JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
A. Identify and maintain a set of clients and extend existing relationships. Understand client very well by
- Knowing client’s business operations
- Client’s environment, location
- Client’s pest issues and concerns
- Client’s contacts, decision makers
B. To be able to maintain a high level of product & service knowledge all the time so as to be able to upsell/ extend customer’s businesses
C. Plan, track & document key action points for each client and report to management
- eg. No of calls, visits, suggestion for new/ additional products/ services, corporate gifts, invitation to events
- Maintain proper records of contacts and other documents on sales software and service software
- Monitor and preemptively conduct contract renewals
- Submit regular reports covering sales activities, performance and plans
D. Ensure positive client experience by ensuring positive experience in customer communication and smooth operation for the services rendered
E. Aid in service operation: If due to unforeseen circumstances that operations fail to meet client’s demands, account reps must personally handle the situation which may include
- Organise internal meetings with different stakeholders, eg. Accounts, entomologists, technicians etc. to resolve client issues
- carry out basic pest control work
- conduct inspections
- write basic reports
- personally look for suitable technician / entomologists for help
- assign jobs
- assist in payment collection
- prepare client documentation
- Work closely with the Service Team to ensure the rollout of specific marketing plans
