Summary:

Our client is in search of a Satellite Sales Manager to oversee the sales of satellite products and services within the Maritime market, targeting both local and international sectors. This role entails managing direct and channel customers, generating quotations, and implementing promotional strategies to drive adoption.

Job Description:

  • Spearhead the sales of satellite products and services in the Maritime market, catering to local and international accounts.
  • Handle direct and channel customers by providing quotations, elucidating value propositions, and organizing calls to understand customer needs.
  • Actively pursue new opportunities within local maritime companies and international partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling value propositions and product positioning.
  • Execute lead generation initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase market awareness.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners.
  • Stay updated on key trends within the Maritime industry, offering valuable insights.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, providing insightful critiques and suggestions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Telco/ICT industry, preferably with a background in technology sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Customer-centric personality with a strong emphasis on teamwork, work ethic, and achieving results.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and positive attitude, with a keen ability for critical thinking.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, possessing strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Build trust and credibility with peers, maintaining robust working relationships across all organizational levels.
