· Develop knowledge of the cultural, business and geographical background of the countries you are responsible for, together with an understanding of consumer tastes and their requirements.
· Build up and maintain good relationships with customers, agents and distributors. To do this, you'll negotiate with them (often in a foreign language) to try to make a sale.
· Able to communicate with exporters in different geographies and to negotiate in native languages in procuring spices, masala products and other products.
· Must possess the local product knowledge and geographical knowledge to procure goods which are available in different market places and should negotiate with local customer for procurement and export.
· Responsible to identify the retailers and prospective customers in Singapore market.
· Responsible to provide quotations for larger orders, and you might need to complete a export documents and agree a final contract with customers.
· Should liaise with the suppliers and exporters from India and should possess geographical availability of seasonal products.
· In charge of sales and marketing to the designated overseas export markets
· Maintenance of customer relations and participation in the organization's sales activities
· Identify new opportunities in areas of operation and growth
· Ensure creditability and good payment from distributors.
· Should maintain outstanding time management.
· Should be able to work in any shifts, split shifts and in rotational holidays.
