Our client is a SGX listed REITs co. The company has a portfolio of healthcare and healthcare-related real estate assets across the region. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town.
For this AVP/ VP treasury and Corporate Finance role, it is a newly created position. The role reports to the CFO. REIT industry exposure is preferred.
Key job functions:
Capital Structure Management
- Oversee the REIT’s capital structure to optimize balance between cost and risk
- Formulate strategies and plans to meet the funding requirements of the REIT
- Evaluate and structure appropriate financial instruments to achieve an optimal capital structure
Treasury Management
- Monitor and project cash flow inflows and outflows to minimise cost of funding and maximize returns on cash
Debt Capital Market
- Monitor market conditions, track relevant transactions and competitors’ actions
- Formulate programs to optimise capital structure and weighted cost of borrowing
Bank Borrowings and Bank Relationship Management
- Maintain adequate banking facilities to meet projected funding requirements; manage and maintain good relationship with banks and minimise credit spread
Interest Rate and FX Risk Management
- Monitor exposure, formulate and time appropriate actions to manage interest rate and foreign exchange risk exposure
Transaction Execution
- Support Investment team to structure investments or divestments to minimise any potential tax leakages and achieve maximum returns
- Structure and lead the debt and equity fund raising activities for the REIT’s acquisition targets
Share Trading Activities
- Monitor and recommend share trading activities for the subsidiaries
Forecast and Budgeting
- Handle the full portfolio of forecast and budgeting

- This role is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
- The co allows for a WFH arrangement 1 day per week.
Requirements:
- Degree Banking and Finance, Accountancy or relevant discipline
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience covering treasury (including capital structure mgt, treasury management, debt capital market, bank borrowings etc)
- Familiar with tax structuring
- Preferably with REIT or real estate experience is highly preferred
- Independent while being able to work as a team
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Great team player and resourceful. Energetic and dynamic
