Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of mechanical assembly tasks that are repeated and broad to support production projects. These tasks include the construction of flat cable assemblies, coax, twin-ax, and tri-ax cables, power, and intricate discrete wire harnesses.
- Assembles, adjusts, reworks, and/or reassembles manufacturing parts according to verbal instructions, drawings, pick tickets, and process documentation.
- Use and prepare a variety of fundamental hand tools and equipment, such as a crimper, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, power screwdriver, pinning machine, and automatic wire strips. As needed, clean the parts before using them in production.
- Identify cables by using the fundamental color-coding scheme.
- Take part in new product launches in their initial production cycles.
- Support inventory handling, inventory transactions, and cycle counts while adhering to specified material procedures.
- Participates in continuous improvement and team-building activities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of machines and techniques in this industry and/or similar industries.
- Meet daily production output & quality requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Min. GCE "O" Level
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
