Responsibilities:
- Monthly and year-end financial accounting closing and consolidation for the group
- Preparation of SGX result announcement and annual report
- Supervise day to day accounting functions, and month end closing
- Review subsidiary entities management monthly results
- If the accounting & reporting function is outsourced to a service provider, to liaise and review the work of the service provider
- Manage and lead a team to maintain accurate accounting system records and adequate internal controls
- Maintain and oversee all finance and accounting operations to ensure timely monthly and year-end-closings
- Review and analyze the monthly financial performance of group entities, implement work process improvements where necessary
- Handle tax requirements of the Group and oversee tax matters relating to withholding tax, GST, etc for the group
- Preparation of annual tax computations, corporate tax reports and submissions
- Coordinate the annual statutory audit
- Coordinate submissions of annual returns for group entities
- Coordinate and liaison with external auditors, tax and corporate secretarial agents
- Cash flow management
- Oversee operations of the finance department
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
- Liaison with banks for facilities to provide working capital
- Review and monitoring of billings and collections
- Managing treasury
- Any other ad-hoc projects assigned
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree/professional qualification in Accountancy (ACCA)
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience with strong group consolidation (prior audit experience will be an advantage)
- Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements, and accounting system implementation
- Working knowledge with accounting software ACCPAC will be an advantage
- Hands-on, proactive, and positive work attitude with strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Organized, meticulous, committed, independent but yet also an excellent team player
- Eligibility to start to work with short notice period in Singapore is preferred.
