APAC Downstream Chemical Leader
As an APAC Downstream Chemical Leader, you will manage the service delivery for an assigned area and portfolio of products and services. Ensures that Baker Hughes maximizes its short and long term revenue, profit and cash collection opportunity by enabling flawless execution, on time delivery, contract adherence and cash collection for the assigned jobs.
As an APAC Downstream Chemical Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars.
- Collaborating with sales/comms teams as well as direct interaction with customers for assigned area to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity).
- Ensuring flawless execution and on-time delivery by assigning appropriate resources in line with volume and complexity of forecasted activity and by developing Quality plans in line with our job cycle process.
- Ensuring that the team fully understand the contracts/quote for their assigned job portfolio to ensure we harvest our contracts and collect what we are owed.
- Overseeing the budget and P/L for the area of responsibility. Develop team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree with solid experience in Chemicals or Oil & Gas with managerial or leadership experience.
- Have previous experience with understanding of Oilfield and Industrial Chemicals (OIC) business and as a leader in this product line.
- Demonstrate interpersonal, adaptive leadership and good communication skills with listening ability to motivate employees, provide coaching and lead by example.
- Show analytical and collaboration skills to lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
- Have good track record of planning and organizational ability.
- Show a proven growing mindset reflected in a clear understanding of the business and customers as well as the competition in order to innovate ways to create value for customers.
- Have experience and understanding of HSE systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies.
