We are looking for a driven Senior Accountant to oversee month-end closing for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding and training the team on maintaining impeccable accounting records and filing procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team of accountants in managing financial statements and month-end closing for clients, ensuring timely completion of management accounts.
- Train accounting team on record maintenance, filing best practices, and problem-solving skills, especially in inter-company accounting processes.
- Prepare financial reports including budgeting and treasury management for a portfolio of companies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GST and tax.
- Assist with client and audit queries as needed.
- Exhibit exceptional ability to work effectively under pressure, solving problems both independently and collaboratively.
- Proactively manage deadlines to ensure timely task completion.
- Available for secondment to client offices when required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance with 4 years of experience, ideally in audit, consolidation, or reviewer roles.
- Proficient in Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards and strong accounting principles.
- Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or similar position, especially in Outsourcing Accounting, is advantageous.
- Skilled in leadership, communication, training, and mentoring, with proficiency in accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks, GST filing, and ideally corporate tax computation.
