1. Abide by the terms and conditions of employment stated in the Letter of Appointment.

2. In charge of fee collection and other miscellaneous sales.

3. Issue official receipts for all transactions.

4. Prepare cheques and vouchers for all payments.

5. Manage petty cash transactions.

6. Compile financial records (Expenditure statement, balance sheet, Profit and Loss statement, Journals, TASBOOK entries)

7. Answer phone calls and attend to parents’ enquiries. Convey phone messages to the respective teachers or staff and record them in the Centre’s Log Book if necessary.

8. Process payroll of all staff and ensure timely payout of monthly wages and/ or bonuses. Maintain payroll records and issued itemised payslips to all staff.

9. Ensure compliance with government regulations in terms of CPF contributions, foreign levy and submission of IR8A.

10. Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.

11. Assist in monitoring staff attendance, punctuality and benefits administration.

12. Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports to the Singapore Buddhist Federation and annual budgeting.

13. Keep stock of school uniforms, PE attires, PVC mattresses and Bedsheets. Maintain the stock inventory records.

14. Update and maintain the Centre’s policies and standard operating procedures.

15. Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.

16. Maintain the Centre’s filing system.

17. Write, print and distribute emails, correspondence memos and forms to the parents.

18. Maintain up-to-date children’s data records, and parents’ and staff contact lists.

19. Assist in the administration of enrolment of new children.

20. Provide general admin support to all staff.

21. Assist the Centre Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the Centre.

22. Work closely with parents to ensure timely payment of fees.

23. Develop and sustain good working relationships with other staff.

24. Do relief teaching as and when required.

25. Undertake any necessary training associated with the duties and responsibilities of the post.

26. Perform any other duties assigned by the Centre Supervisor.
