- Conduct cost estimates and analyses for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to align quantity surveying goals with project objectives.
- Supervise and lead a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and ethical practices.
- Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Prepare accurate and detailed quantity surveying reports for project stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on quantity surveying matters.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making.
- Address and resolve quantity surveying-related issues and inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, for integrated project management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 6 Years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
