Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of the Loan Origination, Digital Account Opening System solution, API channel and other risk management related initiatives.
- In-depth understanding of project delivery frameworks and governance
- Lead project activities related to the transformation initiatives, including technology implementations, process improvements, and other strategic initiatives.
- Jointly work across the business to develop robust migration / implementation / transition plans.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand the project's work stream requirements and ensure that stakeholder needs and expectations are met.
- Manage project work stream teams, including internal and external resources, and ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor and report on project work stream progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Work closely with other members to ensure that project management processes are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project work stream documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other project-related documentation.
- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure that development standards are followed to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Loan Origination.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Loan Origination.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Support IT leadership functions including annual planning, budgeting, status reporting, presentations, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for project communications, identification of issues/risks, and escalation of critical issues to senior leaders. Provides recommendations and/or solutions for identified issues.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of banking project management experience
- 5+ years experience in Java technologies and SDLC
- Experience in Loan Origination system is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of applying SCRUM/Agile/Lean start-up methodologies
- Knowledge and experience working within the agreed project and change management governance frameworks. Demonstrated capabilities in Change Management
