About The Role
As a Financial Analyst in ALPS, you will be sited at our headquarters at Bukit Merah and be responsible for developing budget and forecast for the organisation. You will be communicating closely with operations team and accounting team to support and implement improvements and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- To monitor and analyse budget variances, identify reasons for deviation and provide insights to improve productivity
- To partner with relevant stakeholders for the implementation of new business activities and provide prelimininary costing for such activities to ensure financial sustainability
- To assess the profitability of existing business activities to ensure that costings are updated timely
- To engage site operations team to understand their concerns and to recommend effective work processes
- To assist in preparation of presentation materials for management reportings
- To support financial accounting team in monthly closing of books and audits
- To review existing business processes and control environment and make recommendations for improvements orupdates
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
- Minimum 3 years of relevantexperience in finance
- Advance skill in MS Officeapplication, exp. Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge in SAP will be an addedadvantages
- Meticulous, resourceful and possesspositive work attitude
