To provide technical support to IT Administrators and users at the sites, providing expertise for server and client infrastructure, software, security, telecoms and the network.
Job Description
- Provide L1 & L2 end user technical support to 200 users at the sites and show a customer friendly attitude to a wide range of users from factory operators to directors and executives
- Administer and manage IT support issues / system upgrades for PC's, laptops, servers, Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, security and networks and all related activity to support the Local IT systems to a high level of user service and satisfaction.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and reolve technical issue
- Support the network and regional systems for process automation and local databases in support of local processes such as safety incident registration, local audit/ISO needs, holiday registration, complaints processes, etc.
- To work with and support the IT Administrators and contractors on the sites within the given region and offer specialist in depth knowledge and advice.
- Responsible for improving IT systems and processes which requires creativity and innovative input to site management.
Requirements
- Degree holder
- Have at least 7 years of experience providing L2 technical IT support including end-points, on-premise & cloud servers, networks
- Experience with firewall set up and administration.
- Advantageous if incumbent has proven experience in managing manufacturing site control room system and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Preferably with CCNA certification
- Familiar with cyber security principles and best practices
- Certificates: Microsoft Fundamentals (eg. Azure Fundamentals or M365 Fundamentals); ITIL v4 Foundations; Cisco CCNA
- Show interest in and be aware of latest trends in IT.
- Fluent business English and local-language speaker.
- Pleased to work in a multi cultural environment with IT contacts all over the region.
- Needs to be a team player and have sufficient interpersonal skills
