We are looking for a MATERIAL PLANNER to take on a one year contract job in Singapore for a client in the oil & gas manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- To collaboration closely with the sales and operations team to create a regional and global forecast.
- Analyze incoming demands, identifies order misalignment and manage them to match exisitng inventory.
- Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
- Work with Product Line / Sales /Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates as needed
- Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecast, aged inventory, PO, material analysis, safety stock etc
- Monitor safety stock, global and aging inventory with regions and manufacturing plants
- Assists in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain or related field.
- Experience in order management
- Basic knowledge of SAP and MRP functions
- Familiar with business trends, opportunities and how they impact demand forecast
- Capable to communicate well with stakeholders
- Willing to take on 12 months contract
