Job Description
· Interpret product design specifications from customers and project raw material consumption and cost
· Provide engineering support to manufacturing to meet production goals
· Analyze manufacturing processes to continually develop and implement initiatives that optimize efficiency to reduce costs while increasing yield and improving quality and consistency
· Design manufacturing processes and determine process parameters
· Source, evaluate new material and carry out sample evaluation and trial manufacturing runs
· Establish Bill of Material and manufacturing routing for new products and update in SAP system
· Review of contracts and technical and vendor evaluation
· Prepare product data sheet and maintain updates in SAP system
Requirements
· Tertiary education in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years' relevant experience
· Team player with good communication skills and able to work with cross functional teams
· Knowledge of up-to-date production and automation equipment, processes, designs and functions
· Strong organizing and multi-tasking skills
· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with our Mandarin-speaking business partners
