Job Summary
Responsible for full set of accounts for various entities and maintain the accounting schedules to ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of the schedules. Involved in all aspects of accounting and overseas the day to day activities of the accounting team. He/She has sound technical skills with in-depth knowledge and abilities to ensure quality and accuracy of work for reporting purposes.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for full set of accounts for various entities as allocated.
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: Payment and billing processing, GL, account reconciliation, ensure timely payments etc.)
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/…), audits, procedures, government surveys and forms, both statutory and internal.
- Keep records for Sales and Trading Commissions for quarterly reporting.
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Cashflow management and cashflow forecasting.
- Participate in the preparation of budget and forecast.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
- Contribute to new projects and implementations as required.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant discipline.
- CPA / ACCA or its equivalents.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting fields, or experience in preparing full sets of accounts.
- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Familiarity with Quickbooks and FinTech industry preferred.
- A self-starter who can plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Can-do attitude, resourceful, hands-on and meticulous. A team player who, must be able to work with people within and outside of the finance department.
