DESCRIPTIONS
- Identify, develop and implement process improvements
- Troubleshoot process upsets
- Develop and maintain site wide technology based activities and applications.
- Know-how exchange with R&D departments,
- Process technology (TI-TE), other sitesResponsibility (Key Duties)% of time
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor, Master or PhD in Chemical Engineering or relevant
- Extensive experience (10+) in AN Operations or as Process Technologist
- Advanced process and analytic skills to understand complex chemical processes
- Intensive know-how of AN unit operations and production processes incl. Quality lab, DCS operation, Instrumentation, and comprehensive knowledge of process interdependencies
- Experience in developing solid working relationship with interdisciplinary teams
- Communication skills to foster know-how exchange with other department and sister sites,
- Hands-on attitude to support operations in troubleshooting, plant trials and to support the technicians in the field when working on equipment and process.
- Computer, including standard software and special tools for simulation
- Field work in chemical plant environment, where highly hazardous materials are being handled
- Field work includes wearing of protective clothing and equipment
- Occasional (overseas) business travel as required
