The Voice Services Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in providing technical support and subject matter expertise for the companies Global Trade Floor Environments, with extended support for regional voice platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of network communications, voice telephony systems, carrier services, and specifically focuses on trade floor voice systems such as IPC Unigy. The analyst will be responsible for performing Moves, Adds, Changes (MAC) on various voice systems, assisting in troubleshooting efforts, and providing front office and trade floor workspace support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and subject matter expertise for companies Global Trade Floor Environments.
- Perform MAC work on IPC trader voice systems, voice recording systems, Cisco CUCM, SIP & TDM (Time Division Multiplexing.)carrier services, and Movius Mobile phone recording application.
- Assist in troubleshooting and remediation efforts within the voice environment.
- Support and manage IPC turrets, including configuration and ongoing management.
- Assist in front office and trade floor workspace support.
- Collaborate with carriers, hardware vendors, and other stakeholders for quotes and task orders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in supporting trade floor voice solutions and at least 5 years in a network communication environment.
- Financial services experience with trader voice, specifically IPC Unigy turret systems and Carrier Services.
- Experience with management and support of IPC turrets (IPC qualifications preferred).
- Understanding of global on-net dialing plans in a CUCM environment and IPC systems.
- Solid technical understanding of traditional PRI trunks, SIP trunks, PLAR, Hoot & Holler, and other voice circuit types.
- Knowledge of network protocols, QoS, and other VOIP-related network components.
- Experience working with carriers and hardware vendors for quotes and task orders.
