Design Phase
· Work closely with the contractor on the design to ensure the contractor understands the requirements as per the URS
· Escalate deviations against the design requirements
Construction Phase (only after the first 5 months)
· Review contractor submittals to ensure specifications are accordingly to Company specifications and requirements.
· Inspect and follow up contractors on project defects resolution
· Participate in the testing & commissioning and takeover of the project
Academic Background
· Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering)
· Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)
Professional experience
· For Bachelor’s degree, to have 3 to 7 years’ experience in engineering
· For Diploma, at least 5-10 years’ experience with minimum 3 years working as an engineer
· Preferably with experience in chemicals /Food & Beverages, pharmaceutical or petrochemicals industry
Technical Skills
· Familiar with basic knowledge of GMP requirement would be advantage
· Able to communicate clearly and concisely in English
· Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
· Good command in stakeholder management and communications.
Contract Period
· Valid for 5 months contract
· Working on a part-time basis with a max of 24hrs/week
· Option to extend is important.
The first 5 months would focus on design with the execution to follow. If extended the period would likely be for an additional 12 months
