They can provide the whole range of façade construction services of the whole group.
Job Overview:
They are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis, with the potential for extension or permanent employment based on performance. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing retail alteration and addition (A&A) projects along Orchard Road. You will be responsible for ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and client satisfaction. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will facilitate seamless project execution. Your duties will encompass daily site operations, scheduling meetings, managing timelines, maintaining accurate project records, and communicating updates to all involved parties.
Reponsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned retail A&A projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Manage daily site operations, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate project records.
- Communicate project updates and milestones to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with construction processes, procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Utilize project management software, including MS Project and MS Office suite, to track progress and manage project timelines effectively
Requirement:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry. Experience in façade engineering work will be advantageous.
- Diploma/Degree qualifications in engineering, architecture, project management, or related field.
- Alternatively, candidates with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity are encouraged to apply, even without the specified diploma/degree.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, procedures, safety aspects, and best practices.
- Experience in managing contractors in both pre and post-contract stages.
- Certificate in Bizsafe/WSH will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office suite of products.
