Role:
- Design and implement digital solutions to reduce marine carbon footprint, enhance fuel efficiency, and improve situational awareness for customers.
- Establish and manage test labs for development and testing purposes.
- Develop software and algorithms for electrical propulsion solutions.
- Create documentation for development architecture, test setups, procedures, quality control, and other relevant documents.
- Oversee the commissioning of vessels with similar configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delivered solutions during or after vessel commissioning.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus.
- Experience with IoT solutions (1-Wire, RS-232/RS-485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS, CAN automobile, OBD automobile) and secure Cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in hands-on tasks.
- Knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and marine propulsion systems is required.
- Willingness to attend onboard vessels/sites.
