Job Summary:

As a HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will work in a team and drive the full spectrum of HR across multiple countries, actively partnering with the senior leaders to develop and implement strategic HR plans and solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added strategic HR initiatives to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation. You will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business, understands business priorities and translate them into solutions or outcomes that support the business. You will also need to interface effectively at all levels of the organisation and this will require business acumen, excellent communication skills, influencing skills, strategic thinking and planning/ project management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment.

This role will support the international investment group (including China, US, EMEA and Singapore). You will work in a team of 3 HR BPs supporting the investment group.


Responsibilities:

  • Close engagement with senior management as a trusted advisor to develop and implement HR agenda and solutions
  • Define HR goals that are based on business drivers and ensuring strong HR partnership to help solve business challenges
  • Provide thoughtful and effective coaching to senior leaders and people managers to address and resolve people matters
  • Participate in talent identification and sourcing across the business
  • Partner with the business to lead performance management and talent development discussions
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, wealth added allocations and long term incentives distribution
  • Partner across business leaders to develop workforce planning strategy which enables the best resourcing strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Leverage data insights with HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Manages and resolves all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
  • Partner with business leaders to shape culture, employee engagement, talent agendas and change initiatives as appropriate
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across business and provide best practices and advice on HR policies, ensuring integration of HR priorities into business plans
  • Involve in managing HR matters in portfolio companies as well as setting up of new business platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in HR partnering gained in the investment industry or banking.
  • Has experience dealing with multiple senior stakeholders across the region/globe
  • Demonstrated success in developing progressive global strategies and driving process improvements in a global workplace
  • Experience working and navigating globally with direct experience in APAC cultures and business markets
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and communication skills and ability to deliver strong presentations
  • Strong interpersonal, influential and stakeholder management skills with ability to persuade, influence and build enthusiasm and commitment
  • Experience managing, planning and implementing projects and business support initiatives is required
  • Ability to work comfortably with both strategic policy work and managing operational details
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with ambiguity with personal resilience in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and high level of energy and pace
  • Smart, adaptable with the ability to “connect the dots”
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
