Job Description:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Communicate project status updates to facilities supervisors, managers, and other internal departments, as needed.
- Collaborate with various professionals to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Prepare reports and documentation.
- Monitor maintenance plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors for installation and maintenance projects.
- Conduct inspections of contractor-completed work to ensure compliance and safety.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities for mechanical equipment.
- Research systems and equipment, presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Assess system and equipment efficiency.
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis of equipment and system abnormalities, attending review meetings, and implementing corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
Job Requirement:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or industrial).
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in facilities engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems.
- Understanding of building regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to conduct conditional assessments for existing systems.
- Estimate labor requirements for complex mechanical system installations.
- Develop expertise in assigned equipment.
- Create Project Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Budget Estimates, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Possess leadership skills and effective client communication abilities.
- Fire Safety Manager certification is a plus.
